Very nice campground. The sites are good sized and have nice surrounding trees and foliage.

Wonderful campground! Friendly staff and clean, modern facilities, est. 2007. Indoor pool, outside kiddie pool and hot tub. Bar, appetizers and well-stocked commisary. Spacious campsites and weekend activities. Worth trying for a week or a weekend to see if it fits you.

Loved it here very nice and lots of activities and things for kids to do.

What a nice place! I will have to come up here again next season and check it out!

Stopped here on a whim while taking a road trip. This is a nice campground if you live in the big city and want to be "up north". They have plenty of things for kids to do along with a bar/ lounge area that serves food. The area we were in used to be a field that now has row after row of camp sites. The sites are good sized, and are set up just like houses on a street in town. There are a few trees that were fairly recently planted so they offer little for shade or privacy. The first site we were assigned was a typical back-in site, one block in, take a right, then another right... third lot on the right. It was a bit un-level, so I pulled out our leveling 2X6's because I knew the jacks alone weren't going to be enough. Stacked 3 high with the jacks fully extended, we were "close" to level. Add another 2X6... In order to level our 34' class A motorhome, the front tires ended up being about 6" off the ground. I called the office to see if we could move to another, more level site that I spotted at the end of the street. They replied with: "Let me check... if not, we can bring you some blocks to help level it out". I didn't bother explaining the details, just waited to see if we could move. It turned out that site was open, so we came off the jacks and headed for the end of the block. That site was much better, and we hooked up to the water, sewer, and electric. It's not far from Hinkley and close to I-35 so it's convenient from the cities or Duluth. The staff are friendly and courteous and seem to be willing to do whatever it takes to make your stay comfortable and enjoyable.
